Solutions
I use a streamlined approach and proven techniques to address a combination of the problems you’re facing and save you money. While the approach remains the same, the solutions are tailored to fit your personal or professional life. Examples below apply to teams or organizations.
Assess your organization environment for Agile implementation
Outdated organizational processes and toxic work environments due to silos, mistrust, bureaucracy, lack of belonging and poor communication, are impacting leadership and teams alike from reaching their goals. Agile practices, proved as the antidote, are helping businesses bring value to their customers and happiness to the people involved by creating a fun and productive work environment. Assessing your organization environment is the first step to implementing Agile, and it’s designed to provide you with viable recommendations and an accessible and comprehensive roadmap prior to the adoption.
Manage complex projects and streamline organizational & project management processes
Managing a complex project in your organization creates the right set-up for me to understand the structure and processes of your organization, assess your environment for process improvement and Agile change. At the same time, the PMBOK Guide recommends 47 project management processes instrumental to the success of projects. But let’s face it, that’s not realistic in the real world where a project manager manages anywhere from three to 20 projects at the same time. I’m talking from experience. Because each organization environment is different, wouldn’t you want to know which processes are most important to your organization?
Implement your unique flavor of Agile and adapt it to today’s remote work environment
Agile is a mindset, not a specific set of tools and practices, and that’s why it can be tailored to the needs of each team and organization. However, human beings are not physiologically prepared for constant alterations in processes, roles, and ways of thinking and working. Change involves learning new patterns of behavior and new habits. Research shows that adults need at least eight months to change an old habit or implement a new one. It should come to no surprise that any Agile implementation can take one to two years. Change is never easy, yet change is what pushes us to keep on learning and growing.
About
There are only two places in the world where we can live happy: at home and in Paris.”
Ernest Hemingway
My story
Born and raised in Romania, on the pursuit of happiness. Passionate about fostering creativity, personal growth, and well-being through art, technology, philosophy, psychology, and entrepreneurship. Equipped with courage and resilience and a mindset that failure is part of the learning process – an opportunity to assess, adjust and repeat until you get it right.
I started my professional journey in early 90s, after completing my master of science in textile design and engineering. I went from working as an engineer and fashion designer to studying fine arts, teaching drawing and descriptive geometry, working as a journalist, a producer in a radio station, and running my own gym…
…to moving abroad, completing a master of arts in scenography (performance, film and video), and a master of fine arts in theatre, producing multi-disciplinary shows, teaching dance, creating and managing new media content and projects, teaching art & technology, giving art talks; and working in Information Technology (IT).
Since 2001, when I started my journey in IT, I completed over 100 projects and held various project and product management roles working with Fortune 500, medium and small, start-ups, for profit and non-profit organizations within a number of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, banking, higher education, technology services, media & communications, arts & entertainment.
What motivates me
Year after year, day in and day out, I observed and lived the pains and frustrations of demotivated teams because of poorly managed business activities.
In 2011, when I went through an Agile transformation with the company I worked for, I became aware that I was already applying those principles in my life and art practice. If I could create successful performances, train and inspire actors and dancers, I could also organize and motivate teams, deliver successful projects and products, delight customers, and make a difference in this industry.
Making a difference in helping people and organizations change for the better is what motivates me. With that clarity in mind, and to add to my knowledge kit, in 2023 I enrolled in a Master of Science in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing program. I believe in changing for the better, for ourselves and others, and living happily at home and at work.
Why you should work with me
Are you ready to work with someone who truly cares about your personal growth and success, someone you can trust to support you on your journey? I grew up in a military family, with both parents serving in the army, which instilled in me values of honesty, loyalty, and keeping my word. From an early age, I learned to go above and beyond.
Change has been a constant in my life; I’ve lived in 13 cities across seven countries, three continents, and one island. As a cosmopolitan army brat, I find it easy to get along with others. I love meeting new people, building relationships, and creating win-win situations.
Drawing from my lifelong path of self-development, both personally and professionally, I use a customized, client-centric approach that blends coaching with elements of counseling, including solution-focused techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
